Blue Light Reading Glasses
Sleep ZM reading glasses combine magnification for close work with a clear blue light filter, in five strengths from +1.0x to +3.0x. They're the same Daytime Wayfarer frame throughout, so you can keep one pair by the bed and another at your desk.
Which strength do I need?
If you already own readers, choose the strength printed on the arm. If you don't, this is the usual starting point by age, though it varies from person to person:
- +1.0x — early 40s, or small print only
- +1.5x — mid 40s
- +2.0x — 50s
- +2.5x — late 50s and 60s
- +3.0x — our strongest, for fine print up close
These are ready-made readers with the same strength in both lenses. They aren't a substitute for an eye test. If one eye is different from the other, you have astigmatism, or your vision has changed recently, see an optician.
Reading glasses or computer glasses?
Reading glasses magnify things held close, like a book or a phone. At arm's length on a monitor that magnification usually feels too strong, so for screen work choose Clarity™ computer glasses, which have the same clear filter and no magnification.
Reading in the evening
These lenses are clear, which keeps colors true but filters less blue light. If you read on a tablet late at night and want the full wind-down effect, wear NightGlow™ amber glasses instead for those last hours.
Frequently asked questions
Are these progressive or varifocal lenses?
No. Each pair is a single strength, the same in both lenses.
Do they filter blue light as well as magnify?
Yes. They use the same clear blue light filter as our Clarity™ computer glasses.
What if I pick the wrong strength?
Every pair comes with our 30-day return guarantee, so you can exchange it.

14 lens types. Not strength variants. Distinct lenses.
Other brands count "14 lenses" by stocking 3 strengths of the same color. We don't. Every Sleep ZM lens has a different spectral profile, a different use case, and a different lab certification.
