The GlareAid Yellow-Green Wayfarer is built for harsh artificial light — fluorescent tubes, retail ceiling banks, bright reflective surfaces and the kind of indoor lighting that makes a room feel like it's humming.
Independently lab-tested, the GlareAid lens filters 93% across 400–500nm with 38% visible light transmission, which makes it a Category 2 filter under ISO 12312-1. The yellow-green tint lifts contrast so a brightly lit space reads more evenly, at the cost of a noticeable warm shift in colour.
Not a night-driving lens. A lens must transmit at least 75% of visible light to be legal for driving after dark, and at 38% this one is well below that. Use it indoors, or outdoors in daylight. If you want a lens you can drive in, our Adapt photochromic is the only certified option in the range, and daytime only.
