SleepAidMax Red Arley Kids Blue Light Glasses – Black
Part of the SleepAidMax Red lens collection
The same SleepAidMax Red lens as the adult range, in a frame built for smaller faces. This is the strongest filter we make — for the last hour or two before bed, not for daytime homework.
SleepAidMax Red filters 99.7% of blue and green light between 380 and 580nm, measured by Micro-Light Optics against ISO 12312-1 and ANSI Z80.3. At 22.2% visible light transmission it's a Category 2 filter and noticeably dark, which is the point — it's an evening lens. For school and daytime screens, the clear or yellow Arley pairs are the ones you want.
Lightweight, flexible, and built to survive a school bag. Black frame, red lenses.
A note for parents: evening light does suppress melatonin, and lenses like these reduce that suppression — that part is well established. Whether it improves a child's sleep is not something the research has shown, and a consistent bedtime does more than any lens. A fraction of the price.
Light sensitivity buyers shopping the premium brands rarely realize there's an affordable, lab-certified alternative. Here's the math.
