Night-time Blue Light Glasses — Sleep Collection

Night-time glasses are the ones you put on after sunset. Amber lenses filter most of the blue light from screens and lamps, and red lenses filter blue and green light for the strongest wind-down. Wear them for the last two to three hours of the evening and keep watching TV, reading or scrolling as normal.

Amber or red?

  • NightGlow™ amber filters most blue light and keeps enough color to move around the house comfortably. The everyday evening choice.
  • MaxShield™ red is our strongest filter, cutting blue and green light. Best for the last hour or two, or if amber hasn't been enough.

Why evening light matters

Light after dark, especially the blue part of it, signals to your body that it's still daytime and can hold back melatonin, the hormone that helps you feel sleepy. Filtering that light is one of several habits that support better sleep, alongside a consistent bedtime and a dark, cool bedroom. In a 2018 randomized trial in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, people with insomnia symptoms who wore amber lenses for two hours before bed reported better sleep than when they wore clear lenses.

If you already wear glasses

Fit-overs go over your prescription frames, including an XXL size for larger glasses, and clip-ons attach to the front of them.

Frequently asked questions

When should I put them on?

Two to three hours before you plan to sleep, and keep them on until lights out.

Will everything look orange or red?

Yes, and that's the filter working. Colors return to normal the moment you take the glasses off.

Can I wear them to drive home at night?

No. Any tint lets less light reach your eyes, and eye doctors advise against tinted lenses for night driving.

What if they don't suit me?

Every pair comes with our 30-day return guarantee.

WHAT MAKES SLEEP ZM DIFFERENT

14 lens types. Not strength variants. Distinct lenses.

Other brands count "14 lenses" by stocking 3 strengths of the same color. We don't. Every Sleep ZM lens has a different spectral profile, a different use case, and a different lab certification.
