SleepAidMax Red Flip-Up Clip-On Blue Light Glasses
Part of the SleepAidMax Red lens collection
A red clip-on that attaches to the prescription glasses you already own, with a flip-up hinge — filtering when you need it, normal vision when you don't, without taking anything off your face.
The SleepAidMax lens is our strongest: independently lab-tested to filter 99.7% across 380–580nm, covering blue light and the green wavelengths beside it. Visible light transmission is 22.2%, a Category 2 filter under ISO 12312-1, so flipping it down noticeably warms the room. Built for the last two to three hours before bed — late gaming, screen work, evening TV. Not a lens for driving.
Fits most standard frames, weighs almost nothing, and lives in a pocket when you're not using it.
Sleep ZM Measurement and Sizing FAQ
- Fit-overs are designed to slide over your everyday frames, so measurements must be based on your current glasses.
- You can often find the lens width, bridge width, and temple length printed inside the arm of your glasses.
- If there are no printed numbers, use a ruler to measure the frame width directly across from hinge to hinge, the lens height at its tallest point, and the bridge width.
- Standard/Large fit-overs feature a lens opening of 60mm (W) x 40mm (H), a 15mm bridge, and 150mm arms.
- For a comfortable fit without pinching, your current glasses should be at least 2mm smaller than those measurements, meaning a frame width under roughly 135-140mm and a lens height under 38mm.
- If your frames are wider or thicker, you will need to size up to the X-Large / XXL fit-over.
- Because clip-ons attach directly to your existing lenses at the bridge, the most important measurement is the width and height of a single lens on your everyday glasses.
- Sleep ZM clip-ons are designed with a 64mm (W) x 51mm (H) lens opening and a 15mm bridge.
- They accommodate standard frames up to about 140mm wide; if your frame is larger, a fit-over is recommended instead.
- Fit-Overs: These slide over your entire frame and provide fuller coverage by blocking peripheral light from the sides. They are slightly bulkier but are the best option for strong light sensitivity or oversized frames.
- Clip-Ons: These pinch directly onto your existing lenses and only cover your direct line of sight. They are lighter, slimmer, more portable, and flip up easily for a minimal look.
- The Night-time Fit Over and Max Protect Orange Clip-On block 99.9% of blue light and are ideal for the 1-2 hours before bed to support melatonin protection.
- The Night-time Max XXL Fit Over (Red Lens) blocks up to 100% of both blue and green light (400-550nm). This offers the maximum protection for insomnia or migraines, but it causes a heavy color shift and should strictly be used in the evening to avoid daytime drowsiness.
- For adaptive use indoors and outdoors, the DaytimeMax Fit Over and Photochromic Yellow Clip-On darken automatically in sunlight.
- For extended screen time or gaming, the Gaming Yellow Clip-On blocks 87% of blue light.
- For all-day wear with minimal color distortion, choose the InvisiAid Clear Fit Over (blocks 35% blue light) or the Computer Clear Clip-On (blocks 45% blue light).
