Blue Light Blocking Glasses

Sleep ZM blue light blocking glasses come in clear computer lenses, yellow screen lenses, amber sleep lenses and red sleep lenses, so you can match the lens to the time of day rather than settling for one pair that does everything badly. Every lens is tested by Micor-Light Optics, and every pair is backed by our 30-day return guarantee.

Which lens do you need?

Not sure? The lens finder asks a few questions and points you to a lens, and the lens color guide shows real photographs taken through each one.

Do blue light glasses work?

It depends what you want from them. The evidence for wearing amber or red lenses in the evening to protect sleep is the strongest: in a 2018 randomized trial in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, people with insomnia symptoms who wore amber lenses for two hours before bed reported better sleep than with clear lenses. For daytime eye strain, the research is mixed, and dry eyes from not blinking enough at a screen play a big part. Many people find lighter tints make long screen sessions more comfortable, which is why we sell four strengths rather than one.

Styles for people who already wear glasses

Fit-overs go over your prescription frames, and clip-ons attach to the front of them. Both come with amber, red or yellow lenses.

Frequently asked questions

When should I wear them?

Clear or yellow lenses whenever you're at a screen. Amber or red lenses for the two to three hours before bed.

Can children wear them?

Yes. The Taylor Kids frames come with clear, yellow, amber and red lenses.

Can I wear them for driving?

Not at night. Any tint lets less light reach your eyes, and eye doctors advise against tinted lenses for night driving.

What if they don't suit me?

Every pair comes with our 30-day return guarantee.

WHAT MAKES SLEEP ZM DIFFERENT

14 lens types. Not strength variants. Distinct lenses.

Other brands count "14 lenses" by stocking 3 strengths of the same color. We don't. Every Sleep ZM lens has a different spectral profile, a different use case, and a different lab certification.
